Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. The actress began her career as a stage artist during the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. After that, she acted on Broadway in various productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it big in the National Theatre. The same year, She recorded her first album, It's the Time for Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim as well as Louise won an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's student. The next notable role she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her for in 1964. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently she's also been a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three and she continued to live there throughout in the adolescent years and childhood. Then she settled in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
