Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid's mother is Chinese and was raised within Vietnam. Winston Barrett Munn hails from the American South. Olivia's parents separated at age two. She grew up with her mother, who worked with the United States Air Force, and her stepfather. She was raised primarily in Tokyo, Japan, even though the family moved around a lot. In Japan, she appeared as an actress at local theater performances and then was an Japanese models for fashion. When the family eventually returned home to United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her ambition of becoming an actor. After a few minor parts, Olivia landed a role after she was cast as Mily Acua on the Hawaii filmed TV series Beyond the Break 2006 and as the receptionist of Rob Schneider. She hosts "The Daily Nut" and"Formula D" on G4 "Formula D" Podcasts on G4. Surfing is her passion, and she practices it ever since she appeared on the television show Beyond the Break (2006). Her black belt is in the martial art of taekwondo. She was only two when her mom got married once more and this time, with the same US Air Force member. They have relocated numerous times. She spent most of her childhood in Tokyo Japan due to the fact that it was the location where her father was stationed. She was a journalist in the University of Oklahoma and also majored in Japanese drama, dramatic arts, and drama.
